MATRAX Productions LLC. is an award winning Philadelphia based production boutique consisting of an amalgamation of extremely talented composers. The company began with the melding of classical melodies and hard beats. However, its repertoire has since expanded exponentially, garnering increased praise and respect throughout the music industry.

The company, founded by Scott “Great Scott” Carter (producer), Damon “Husky” Hayes (producer), and William Carter (managing partner), has grown with the addition of Maxim Laskavy (engineer/producer). Samik Ganguly (producer), and Drew Kramer (guitarist/producer).

Matrax initially gained acclaim in the Philadelphia area working with local hip-hop artists including Ms. Jade (Interscope), E-Ness (Bad Boy), Roscoe P. Coldchain (StarTrak), and Freeway (Rocafella). Since that time they have worked with talent spanning the Pop, R&B, Alternative, Hip Hop spectrum, and have also had work featured on television. Projects include Keshia Chante (Sony), Eva Avila (Sony), Peety Pablo (Jive/Zomba), Karina Pasian (Def Jam), Tiffany Evans (Columbia), Rhymefest (J Records), and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.

Matrax has also helped build the careers of some of the industries currently most sought after writers, including Frankie Storm (“Please Don’t Stop the Music” – Rihanna) and, Krystal Oliver (“Showstopper” – Danity Kane). Matrax’ work with these writers significantly raised their respective profiles. Now each is consistently looked for by major artists to contribute on projects. Writers throughout the industry recognize Matrax’ abilities and appreciate opportunities to work with the company.
