Born in the Bronx and raised in Philadelphia, uber-producer Samik Ganguly also known as “The Symphony” is a classically trained violinist as well as a DJ that has transitioned into being a production powerhouse. Samik’s music can bend itself into any genre which he says is done on purpose in an effort to keep himself fresh. With a history of rave reviews on the underground circuit, his talent caught the ear of Scott Carter who virtually demanded that he join the Matrax production team. Since then Samik has brought his multi-syncopated, synth-laden, string heavy sound to the Matrax team with spectacular results.
